Description

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup pecans, toasted

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Spread the pecans on a baking sheet and toast for about 8-10 minutes.
  3. Cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Beat in the eggs one at a time.
  5. Whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt in another bowl, then gradually mix into wet ingredients.
  6. Fold in the toasted pecans.
  7. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto lined baking sheets.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are lightly golden.
  9. Allow to cool on racks before serving.
