Description

These soft and chewy cookies combine creamy peanut butter with rich chocolate chips for a delightful treat.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the creamy peanut butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar. Mix until smooth.
  3. Add in the egg and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
  4. Sprinkle in the baking soda and salt, stirring until incorporated.
  5. Gently fold in the chocolate chips.
  6. Scoop rounded balls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between them.
  7. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes until the edges are golden but the centers are soft.
  8. Let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
