Deliciously fudgy brownies made with ripe bananas and peanut butter for a healthier twist.
Ingredients

- 1 cup all natural creamy peanut butter
- 1 cup mashed bananas
- 1 egg
- 3 tbsp cocoa powder
- ⅓ cup pure maple syrup (or honey)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- ½ tsp baking soda
- ⅔ cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C).
- Line an 8-inch square pan with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, combine all ingredients except for chocolate chips until the batter is thick.
- Gently fold in the chocolate chips.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth it out with a spatula.
- Bake for 18 to 20 minutes until barely set in the middle.
- Allow to cool before slicing.
Notes
Serve warm with ice cream or yogurt for an indulgent treat.
