- 2 cups apple pie filling
- 10 egg roll wrappers
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- Oil for frying
- Caramel sauce for dipping
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine the apple pie filling with cinnamon and sugar, giving it a good stir.
- Lay an egg roll wrapper flat on your counter. Spoon a generous amount of the apple pie filling into the center of the wrapper.
- To wrap the egg roll, fold the sides over the filling and start rolling it up tightly from the bottom to the top. Seal the edges with a dab of water.
- Heat oil in a deep fryer or skillet over medium heat.
- Fry the egg rolls until golden brown and crispy, about 2 to 3 minutes on each side.
- Remove from oil and let them drain on a paper towel.
- Serve warm with caramel sauce for dipping.
Notes
For extra garnishing, sprinkle powdered sugar or drizzle chocolate sauce on top before serving.
