- For the Glaze:
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2–3 tablespoons fresh orange juice
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a 12-cup muffin tin with paper liners.
- In a large bowl, whisk together all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- In a separate medium bowl, whisk together the beaten egg, milk, and melted butter.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry mixture, stirring until just combined.
- Gently fold in cranberries and orange zest.
- Divide the batter among the muffin cups, filling each about two-thirds full.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until the tops are golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
- Prepare the glaze by whisking together powdered sugar and orange juice until smooth.
- Drizzle the glaze over the warm muffins.
- Serve warm or at room temperature.
