Description

Delicious crispy and soft Air Fryer Apple Fritters filled with spiced apples, perfect for breakfast or dessert.


Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 cups peeled and diced apples
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, salt, and sugar.
  2. In another bowl, whisk together the milk and egg until well blended.
  3. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
  4. Gently fold in the diced apples, ensuring they are evenly distributed throughout the batter.
  5. Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  6. Lightly grease the air fryer basket with cooking spray for a crisp finish.
  7. Drop spoonfuls of the batter into the basket, making sure to leave enough space between each fritter.
  8. Air fry for 8-10 minutes, or until they’re golden brown. Flip them halfway through the cooking time to achieve even crispiness.
  9. Once done, remove and let them cool slightly before serving.

Notes

For extra sweetness, drizzle with a simple glaze made from powdered sugar and milk, or serve warm with ice cream.
