- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup milk
- 1 large egg
- 2 cups peeled and diced apples
- Cooking spray
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, salt, and sugar.
- In another bowl, whisk together the milk and egg until well blended.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
- Gently fold in the diced apples, ensuring they are evenly distributed throughout the batter.
- Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
- Lightly grease the air fryer basket with cooking spray for a crisp finish.
- Drop spoonfuls of the batter into the basket, making sure to leave enough space between each fritter.
- Air fry for 8-10 minutes, or until they’re golden brown. Flip them halfway through the cooking time to achieve even crispiness.
- Once done, remove and let them cool slightly before serving.
Notes
For extra sweetness, drizzle with a simple glaze made from powdered sugar and milk, or serve warm with ice cream.
