Description

A simple and delicious treat combining ripe bananas and creamy peanut butter, perfect for snacks, breakfast, or dessert.


Ingredients

  • 3 very ripe bananas
  • 1/4 cup smooth natural peanut butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/4 cup instant or quick cooking oats
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease or line a loaf pan with parchment paper.
  2. Mash the bananas in a large bowl until almost smooth.
  3. Add peanut butter and vanilla extract; mix until combined.
  4. Add oats, salt, and baking powder and stir until well combined.
  5. Fold in 1/3 cup of chocolate chips; hold the rest for later.
  6. Pour mixture into the loaf pan and sprinkle remaining chocolate chips on top.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a knife comes out clean.
  8. Let cool before cutting into 6-8 pieces.
